How Do Deposits Work on Pumper?

When you deposit funds into Pumper, you're not just funding an app. You're adding money to a real Solana wallet that you control.

Here's how it works:

What Happens When I Deposit?

  • Every Pumper account comes with a non-custodial Solana wallet

  • The wallet is created on your device and encrypted for security

  • You can deposit USDC into it

  • Your wallet address belongs to you and can be viewed any time on Solana explorers like Solscan.io

Why Don’t My SOL or Tokens Show Up?

Right now, the Pumper app is optimized to display USDC only.

  • If you deposit USDC, it appears in your balance right away

  • If you deposit SOL or another SPL token, it will not be visible in the app at first.

  • Your funds are still safe and fully accessible in your wallet

How to Make Other Tokens Appear in the App

To get SOL or another token to show up in Pumper:

  1. Deposit some USDC into your wallet

  2. Use Pumper to buy a small amount of the token you already deposited

  3. The app will register the token and show your full balance

Example:

  • You deposit 1 SOL

  • Then buy 0.01 SOL with USDC

  • The full 1.01 SOL will now appear in your wallet balance

You can always verify your holdings on external tools like Solscan.

Why This Happens

  • The Pumper app currently detects tokens only after you interact with them

  • This is a known limitation, and we are actively working on a fix

  • In a future release, all valid tokens will display automatically without extra steps

TL;DR

✅ You get a real Solana wallet with every Pumper account

✅ You can deposit any SPL token, but the app shows USDC by default

🔄 To make tokens like SOL appear, just buy a small amount in the app

🔐 Your funds are always safe and can be verified on-chain
