1. On-chain, not in the app
Your tokens sit on the public Solana ledger. Pumper is simply the window you use to view and move them.
2. Non-custodial by design
At sign-up, the Privy SDK creates an encrypted private key inside your phone’s secure hardware. Pumper’s servers never see the raw key—only your device can sign transactions.
3. Lose the phone? Log back in.
If your phone is lost or replaced, just download Pumper on the new device and sign in with the same email address. Privy securely restores the encrypted key, and your wallet reappears instantly—no seed phrase required.
4. What if Pumper itself disappeared?
As long as the app remains on your phone you can still sign and broadcast transactions, and Solana continues to hold your assets. (An export feature is on the roadmap for added flexibility.)
5. Quick safety checklist
Lock your phone with a strong passcode and biometrics.
Keep access to your email account—it’s your recovery path.
Enable encrypted device backups (iCloud, Google) for extra redundancy.
Use a hardware wallet for very large balances if you prefer a separate seed phrase.
